District Athletics 13th July 2015 (9 images)
On a damp and breezy Monday evening, 25 pupils from Year 3 - 6 travelled to Stoke Mandeville Stadium to compete in the District Athletics Championships. There were many fantastic performances during the evening and St-Michael's were rewarded for their efforts by finishing 1st Place overall!
School Games Finals Cycling Team 10th July (6 images)
Our Year 6 Cycling Team of Ewan, Ben, Louis, Sophia, Becky & Rebecca who had won the Buckingham Schools Cycling Final, qualified for County School Games Finals. Our team missed out on bronze by just 1 point!
Foundation went on a trip out to College Lake with their special teddies! Many thanks to our parent helpers for the day.

Sports Day 2015 Friday 19th June 2015 (19 images)
Sports Day 2015 Friday 19th June - a victory for Lincoln this year.
All Year 6 pupils took part in the Cottesloe School Games - the pupils were in teams for football, netball, hockey, tag rugby, rounders, tennis and table tennis. A superb all round performance made St Michael's achieve 1st position over all - well done all Year 6!
KS2 Finals @ Stoke Mandeville 11th June (4 images)
Thanks to three of our teams finishing in first and second places in their local festivals at Cottesloe during the year, they qualified for the district finals at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
Soulbury Millennium Festival - 10th June (4 images)
Our Dance Extravaganza Girls and our Handbell ringers both performed at the Soulbury Millennium Festival. Two great performances!
16 Pupils from Years 5 & 6 participated in the District Kwik Cricket Tournament for primary schools. Well done to all players!

Years 3 & 4 Egyptian Day 21st May 2015 (99 images)
We were transported back in time on 21st May to Egyptian times – thanks to Year 3 and 4, Mrs Deverill, Mrs Clarke and parent helpers and the educational group ‘History off the Page’. The day was extremely well organised with so many activities and enactments of Egyptian times.
On Monday 18th May, the Year 6 football team went to Grendon Underwood School to play a very breezy game of football. The whole team played with lots of enthusiasm but sadly lost 2 - 0!
Hi Five Netball Tournament Friday 15th May (3 images)
St-Michael's hosted three teams from Brookmead in a High 5 Netball league set up with some of our local schools. Our teams were Eagles, Hawks & Falcons.

Buckingham SSP KS1 Athletics festival (3 images)
Well done to Archie, Mason, Noah, Emily O’Shea Emily AB and Sanchia who represented St Michael's at the KS1 athletics festival in the Cottesloe School Sports Hall on Tuesday. All six pupils put in some fantastic performances to finish the competition in a fantastic 3rd place and should be congratulated on their enthusiasm and sporting behaviour throughout.

Parents of Year 3 pupils were treated to a violin concert performed by our Year 3 pupils under the guidance of Aylesbury Music Teacher Mr Horn as part of Buckinghamshire Learning Trust First Access group music lessons. (It was also Onesie/pyjama/non uniform day too!)

Year 6 Girls - Antonia, Isobelle, Emily, Ayla, Jessica, Jessie, Lily, Becky, Rebecca and Lauren all competed in this years Dance Extravaganza.
Year 5 & 6 French Cafe (11 images)
Year 5 and 6 pupils experienced a French Café in their French lessons with Mrs Grant. The pupils tasted croissants, pain au chocolate, brioche with jam, juice and hot chocolate whilst conversing in French.

The Fire Brigade kindly visited the Foundation class as part of their topic about ‘People Who Help Us’. They gave us very important information about what to do if there is a fire in a building and if a person catches fire, how they should 'stop, drop and roll'!

We welcomed Rebecca from ‘Perform’ to our school. Year F,1, and 2 children were treated to a free drama workshop with a theme of The Jungle.
A Nurse Visits Year 1 & 2 (6 images)
As part of Year 1 and 2’s current topic ‘Ghastly Germs’ Annabel’s mummy, who is a nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, kindly came in to talk to Year 1 and Year 2 about the importance of hand washing.

As part of Foundation’s topic on ‘People who help us', PCSO’s Mrs Boston and Mr Callaghan visited the Foundation Class. The lights and siren were most impressive and we couldn't miss the different sequences of the siren!
Vet Hannah Lyon visits Foundation (1 images)
As part of Foundation’s topic on ‘People who help us', Vet, Hannah Lyon and Springer Spaniel Noah visited the Foundation Class. The visit was very informative and has given us lots of ideas for our role play in the Vet’s Surgery. We are very grateful to Hannah and Noah for coming along and talking to Foundation.

As part of Foundation’s topic on ‘People who help us', Doctor Peel visited the Foundation Class. We must say a big ‘Thank you’ to Dr Peel for taking time out of her busy schedule to visit us.
2 Teams competed in this festival, they were: Alex, Lulu , Sam & Megan - the white team. Blue team: Tommy, Isabella, Sky and Rueben. All players should also be commended on their sporting and supportive behaviour throughout. Well done!

Six of our Year 2 pupils took part in the Multi-Skills festival held at The Cottesloe School. The children worked really hard and efforts were rewarded as St-Michael's took 1st place! Well done to: Frankie, Sam, Dylan, Sinead, Chloe & Maisy.

Year 6 had an exciting trip to Hazard Alley on the 25th September. The purpose built interactive centre where children can experience hazardous scenarios in perfect safety!
